How it works
eCloud provides an EV charging system linked to an automatic billing platform for both electricity user and electricity supplier
1. izibox
The adapter measures the electricity needed to charge the car. The electricity used will be invoiced to the adapter owner via the eCloud billing platform.
2. izibill app
The app registers the charging sessions and transfers the data to the automated billing system.
3. izichip
Defines the outlet as a charging point (to charge the battery). The electricity supplied will be reimbursed via the eCloud billing platform.
4. iziportal
Software enables the fleet manager to manage the adapters of the company cars.
How to Connect
Connectivity
Connection between izibill app and izibox adapter is done via Bluetooth 2.0 (within a range of 10 m/ 33 feet without any barrier in between). This makes charging registration possible without an internet connection (e.g. underground parkings)

For first time use and registration, you'll need an internet connection
Connection between the app and our billing system is automated
via internet through your smartphone.
Understanding the Operation of eCloud
Open the app, create mail address and password.
Fill out Email address.
Click Next!
Select the right option
(izibox – izichip - izibox and izichip – without device)
Click “next” to connect to an izichip
Sticker registration
Define a charging point
with a sticker
Select : Enter your code to connect sticker. This can be done by entering the ID code of the sticker manually or with the smartphone NFC reader.
If you get the following message : This sticker is not yet registered in our systems, please contact the eCloud administrator via info@ecloudcompany.eu
Sticker detail
Sticker name : fill out a name for the location of
the sticker. (e.g. garage left side)
Price/kWh and currency : Defined by our Country Energy Regulator CREG
EAN number : optional
Address information
Street address, zip code city , country.
All
mandatory fields.
Add location
Pinpoint the exact location of the sticker on the
map (e.g. garage door)
The registration of your socket is now completed
Glue the sticker into the outlet
The sticker now defines a charging point. The
owner of the socket will automatically be paid for the electricity
supplied via the eCloud adapter.
Adapter set-up
Plug the adapter into a socket that contains a
registered sticker
On the adapter, a blue flashing LED will be visible. If the sticker is not properly registered the flashing LED will
be red.
Select “Add Adapter” – then select start
scanning. The connection is done via Bluetooth. Be sure to be closer than 10 meters (or 33 feet) without any barriers in between
The eCloud adapter serial number will appear (last 4 digits)
Select the adapter, Press “pair selected device”, The adapter is now connected to the app
