Easy Charging and reimbursement (split-billing)
How it works
eCloud provides an EV charging measurement and reimbursement solution linked to an automatic billing platform for both the car driver and the car owner.
1. eCloud box
Measures the electricity used to charge the car. The electricity used will be invoiced to the eCloud box owner via the eCloud billing platform.
2. eCloud app
The app registers the charging sessions and transfers the data to the automated billing system.
3. eCloud chip
Defines the outlet as a reimbursement point . The electricity supplied will be reimbursed via the eCloud billing platform.
4. eCloud portal
Software enables the fleet manager to have an overview of all charging sessions and manage the eCloud boxes of the company cars.
How to Connect

The connection between the eCloud app and the eCloud box is established via Bluetooth, allowing you to conduct charging sessions without needing an internet connection (e.g., in underground parking garages).
Understanding the Operation of eCloud
Open the app, create an account with mail address and password.
Fill out Email address.
Click Next!
Select the right option
(eCloud box – eCloud chip - eCloud box and eCloud chip – without device)
Click “next” to connect to an izichip

Define a reimbursement point
with a sticker
Select : Enter your code to connect the eCloud chip. This can be done by entering the ID code of the sticker manually or with the smartphone NFC reader. In the unlikely event that you would need customer support, information how to contact the eCloud company is to be found on this website or through support@ecloudcompany.eu

Sticker name : fill out a name for the location of
the sticker. (e.g. garage left side)
Price/kWh and currency : Defined by our Country Energy Regulator CREG
EAN number : optional
Address information
Street address, zip code city , country.

Pinpoint the exact location of the sticker on the
map (e.g. garage door)
The registration of your socket is now completed
Glue the sticker into the outlet
The sticker now defines a charging point. The
owner of the socket will automatically be paid for the electricity
supplied via the eCloud adapter.
eCloud box set-up
Plug the eCloud box into a socket that contains a registered eCloud chip (sticker)
On the eCloud box, a blue flashing LED will be visible. If the eCloud chip is not properly registered the flashing LED will
be red.
Select “Add eCloud box” – then select start
scanning. The connection is done via Bluetooth. Be sure to be in Bluetooth range. A couple of meters without barriers should be fine.
The eCloud box serial number will appear (last 4 digits)
Select the eCloud box, Press “pair selected device”, The eCloud box is now connected to the app
